Examine the two agar diffusion test results shown above. Note that precipitate lines can range from vividly clear to very faint and may take extra effort to observe. Regardless of its intensity, the existence of a precipitate line indicates an antigen-antibody reaction has occurred between the serums above and below the precipitate line. Allowing your serum agar plates to mature for 3 days, then observe and compare the results to those shown here.
